Why I’m doing this.

Sixteen years in the nonprofit sector, then Deloitte, then Anyone Can Fundraise.

Micah Adler

I spent 16 years in the nonprofit sector before joining Deloitte’s fundraising services practice. After Deloitte I started Anyone Can Fundraise because the same pattern showed up everywhere: nonprofits paying for tools they were not using, and not using the new features inside the tools they were already paying for.

The work now is closing that gap. Not by selling you more software, but by helping your team actually use what you already have.

It felt like having an extra team member. Like a third person to ask.
Development Director, community services nonprofit

Sixteen years inside the sector.

Program director. Campaign director. Settlement worker. Mostly small and mid-size organizations doing real frontline work with budgets that never matched the need.

That stretch is why this site is built the way it is. Your team does not need another platform. You need someone who can sit beside the team, work the tools you already pay for, and leave behind something you can keep running after the engagement closes.

Productized capacity building, not consulting theatre.

Three shapes of engagement, mapped to the buyer. Foundations funding portfolios get group programs, foundation-funded and fixed price per organization. Organizations with one specific problem get 1:1 work. Consultancies and mid-size orgs that want a working system get a custom build, fixed price after a one-hour scoping call.

Group programs close in 30 days with usable outputs, not a 60-page strategy deck. Foundation-funded cohort work wrapped this year, with more in discussion.

Away from the desk.

Outside work, I am at CrossFit most mornings and biking in the evenings, cheering on the local baseball and basketball teams in season, and spending the rest of the time at home in Toronto with my wife, our kid, and our mascot Einstein.

Fun fact: in high school I played point guard on the basketball team. I still think that way: get the ball where it needs to go, make the team better, do not stand still.
